CELTIC MUSIC PROJECT

a)All souls nights translation

(x2)(estribillo/chorus)

C)Is it just “Celtic” Music or there are another music influences? Which ones?

No. I think rock music, electronic music or folk music was  combined with the celtic music.

D- Who is Pamela Wyn Shannon? (2 or 3 lines are enough).

Massachusetts-based musician, Pamela Wyn Shannon's inventive and intricate guitar work. She has walked with the legends of British and Irish folk music, garnering respect and admiration wherever she goes.
Pamela's new CD, Courting Autumn is a rustic almanac of autumnal songs burnished with a melancholy mood, wistful vocals, delicate hand-spun guitar playing. The songs on her new CD, COURTING AUTUMN, have an elliptical quality which creates its own timeframe, rules, and kingdoms, reminiscent of that magic found in UK '60s psyche-folk artifacts.

E- Where does she come from?

She is from Massachusetts.

F- In your own words, try to express the feeling you get listening to this music (2 or 3 lines are enough).

I feel relaxed and calm. It resembles me like a fairy tale or similar. I feel as if I were in other epoch in the Medieval Ages.

G- Do some research about the poem The Unquiet Grave which this song is based on, and answer these questions: what is the main topic of the song? Do you like the story? Why or why not?

Is an English folk song and it's about(the topic of the song and the poem)a young man mourns his dead love too hard and prevents her from obtaining peace.
Yes, because it resembles me a story and simultaneously it is interesting because we are not accustomed the young persons to listening to this type of songs or reading these poems.

H- Where do they (Gwendal) come from?

Gwendal is an instrumental group of breton and Celtic music formed in 1972.

I- Open your mind and let your imagination fly free!! : what does this music (Gwendal) transmit to you? (3 or 4 lines are enough).

It transmits me happiness, amusement as if you were in a town's party. Also it remembers me to the medieval epoch but of the songs that they were playing in the streets. Finally it transports me to my infancy, to the songs that my family sang to me when I was small and more little.
